Affiliation

Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, University of Cambridge, Cambridge, United Kingdom

Title

Professor of Reproductive Physiology

Role

Basic Scientist

Research Interests

The research of Professor Colledge's group is focused on using transgenic mice to model human genetic disorders and to use these animals to study disease pathology and to develop new treatments. This technology centers around the use of genetically manipulated embryonic stem cells to generate mice carrying specific mutations. This technology is applied mainly in the study of mammalian reproductive physiology and in particular, the role of kisspeptin signalling in fertility.
